Thank you to all sangha friends who helped make our Tet Lunar New Year Celebration a fun family event. Special thanks to our decorations team- Holly, Michael, Peter, Lucy and Carol. Also, thanks to our excellent bell minders- Zora, Luna, Peter, and Sid. To all sangha friends who were able to attend, sending gratitude for your joyful spirit. If you couldn't make it this time, sangha is in the planning stage for an early June family picnic. You are welcome to pick up parallel verses for home practice to be found in the red basket in the lobby.

What's for Dinner? Please Send Recipes by 3/1
The Sangha Cookbook promises to be a great way to share recipes and raise funds for our community service efforts. Please send your favorite vegan and vegetarian recipes via email to Sarah Dobbins or drop the recipes here in the Google Folder that Sarah Dasher created. Pictures of your dish are welcome. Please send your recipes by March 1.
We Appreciate our Sangha Volunteers!
We are in need of volunteer Bell Minders, Facilitators, and Zoom Minders. Regulars with experience, please sign up if you are able to help. Zoom friends are invited to serve as facilitators too. Also, new volunteers are welcome and earn way more merit for their courage! Look for the sign up sheet on Sundays. It is available online too.
Bell Minding, Facilitator, and Zoom Minding Training
All are welcome to join the training session coming soon. We usually meet as a group before sangha for about 30 minutes. There are written scripts /directions. This is an easy and kinda fun way to support sangha. Look for the training sign up sheet at the meditation hall or you can email back if interested.
Coming up Soon- Sangha Community Service Event- Saturday, March 7th
Bashor Homeless Men’s Shelter. We will prepare dinner for 35-40 guests and volunteers at Bashor Homeless Men’s Shelter. Meal prep from about 1:00- 4:00 PM at someone’s home TBD. At 6:00 PM arrive at Bashor (Shrine location) to reheat, plate, and serve the meal. You may like to do either food prep or food serving or both. Coordination Team: Matt Hunter and Sharon Murphy. Email for further information.

A Note from Leslie Rawls, one of our Guiding Dharma Teachers
On Sunday, March 29th from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM there will be an opportunity for those who wish to receive the transmission of the Five Mindfulness Trainings in a formal ceremony. This will be a hybrid event. The in-person portion of the gathering will happen at the Charlotte Community of Mindfulness. Peach Blossom friends are invited to join via Zoom. Interested in learning more about Optional Transmission of the Five Mindfulness Trainings?
On Sunday, March 8th, after the regular gathering, from 6:30-7:00, there will be a chance to talk with other Peach Blossom Sangha friends about this optional Five Mindfulness Trainings Transmission. Bring your questions and thoughts. Several sangha friends who decided to formally take the Five Mindfulness trainings will be there.
