What's New-
GroupMe Pilot
Our CareTaking Council hopes to broaden sangha communication beyond emails. We are asking interested sangha members to join a trial of GroupMe. This Microsoft app, suggested by Reagan, has a bunch of neat options- event announcements, live chats about events. We are thinking of a 3 month trial to see what people think. This would be in addition to weekly newsletter email not a replacement. It is free and requires a download and simple sign up. If you would like to help sangha and to try this out, we will go live with announcements soon and review about August 1. Link to join "Peach Blossom Sangha Friends" on GroupMe is HERE

Calm in the Storm: Zen Ways to Cultivate Stability in an Anxious World
This is a very helpful and beautiful book written by the abbot of Upper Hamlet at Plum Village- Brother Chan Phap Huu and Jo Confino (Co-hosts of The Way Out is In podcast). I recommend it! BTW- You don't need to have read the book to join this event. The event starts at 7:30 PM with 30 minutes of sitting meditation and followed by an 8:00-9:00 PM discussion.
